  • Educational assessment and assessment of children and young people’s learning

We assess children and young people with specific learning difficulties, problems with attention and concentration, complex learning needs, learning disabilities, ASD as well as those who are gifted and talented. We can also assess children for school readiness. Both Paola and Janina are registered as Educational and Developmental Psychologists and have expertise of working with schools.
All our reports come with comprehensive conclusions and recommendations so that, not only do you know more about your child’s strengths and weaknesses, but also what to do next to assist their learning.

  • We use a range of tests including:

    • Wechsler family of tests which provide a very comprehensive overall assessment of a child’ or young person’s ability and academic skills.
    • Standford Binet Five which is most widely used for assessing children who may be gifted or talented.
    • Tests of Adaptive Behaviour which can be helpful to provide information about the capacities of children who have an intellectual disability or complex needs.
    • We also use a range of questionnaires which look at the child's behaviour, attention and emotional functioning
