• Dr Janina Szyndler, Principal, BSc (Hons), D Clin Psychol. MAPS, MCCP MCEDP

  Janina is a Clinical and Developmental Psychologist with over twenty years experience of working in both private practice and public health with children, families and adults in London and Sydney. Janina’s main interests are in women and children’s mental health, assessments of children’s learning, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Asperger’s, OCD and parenting. Janina provides a range of services including individual and family therapy, psychometric assessment of children and young people and report writing. Janina speaks Polish. Janina works at Burwood and Park Central.

• Catherine Ephraums BSc(Hons), BPsych(Hons), MPsych(Clinical)

  As a psychologist with clinical training, Catherine's aim is to help her clients to overcome and manage challenging personal and relationship issues. She understands the importance of helping her clients to work with their personal strengths and develop helpful coping strategies. Catherine strives to use the most appropriate, best-practice therapies to help people achieve their goals. Catherine has experience working with adults and children and their families, particularly through times of upheaval and stress. Catherine works at Burwood

• Paula Munro M.Clin.Psych, Grad Dip App Psy., B.Sc. MAPS MCCP

  Paula has worked for over 15 years in the fields of private, government, health and educational psychology. As a Clinical Psychologist since 2000 Paula has been working extensively with children and families using both individualised and group based interventions within the NSW Health system. Paula is also skilled in therapy with adults experiencing anxiety and depression.
  Paula is an accredited 123 Magic and Emotional Coaching facilitator, as well as an experienced Positive Parenting Program leader. Paula is highly committed to supporting her clients to make changes to their lives. She places emphasis on a thorough understanding of each family, working collaboratively to help them draw on their own natural resources to meet their goals. Paula speaks Spanish.

• Leanne Sathiah BA Dip Ed MSC MEd

  Leanne is a registered psychologist with 15 years experience working in public education as both a high school teacher and school counsellor. Leanne has worked with children and young people with a range of difficulties with learning, behaviour and emotions. She has a strong interest in helping children and families to overcome difficulties and enjoys working closely with other professionals including therapists, paediatricians and schools. Leanne has a long
  personal and professional association with Campbelltown and the surrounding areas and is based at the Park Central office.

• Emily Trimmer, BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clinical

  Emily has a strong interest in developmental psychology, specifically in the assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Asperger’s. Emily also has an interest in anxiety disorders and brain injury across the age range. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of NSW. Emily is committed to providing a thorough and comprehensive assessment of each client’s functioning and developing the most appropriate intervention. Emily’s passion and knowledge for research keeps her up to date with the most evidence-based therapies. Emily has experience working with children, adults and families. Emily works at Burwood and Park Centra

  Interns
  From time to time the practice also has interns who are completing post graduate qualifications (Masters or Doctorates) in Clinical Psychology at UWS and Sydney University. All the work they conduct is supervised by Dr Janina Szyndler. We offer some assessments at a reduced fee if they are conducted by an intern.
  
  We have Vincent Fimmano, who is a registered psychologist in his final year of the Masters in Clinical Psychology at UWS, with us from May to August 2011.
